Here is an example of the confectioner’s art suitable for any romantic occasion, especially Valentine’s Day:
If chocolate alone isn’t enough to sate your desires, consider this amazing display. Yes, folks, somebody out there in Fashion Land was crazy enough to create this:
If you could make a chocolate cage, who or what would you keep inside it? White, milk, semisweet, or dark? Nuts? No nuts? Fruit or flowers, perhaps? Indulge that imagination!
Dark chocolate (70%, don’t want to be too extreme!) and coconut. Hmmm. Like an almond joy bar, but without the additives…I’d try to leave out the sugar and use just honey…can you tell I have issues with sugar???

Almond Joy is my favorite candy! I don’t see why it couldn’t be made with honey. That could add something lovely to the flavor…. Thanks for visiting!

Milk chocolate with almonds. As for who I would keep in there? I’m not telling. 😉

That’s a cage I wouldn’t mind being trapped in… although I wouldn’t be trapped for long. 😉

Makes you wonder what the superstructure is. PVC? Lightweight metal pipe? If you really could chew your way through the bars, that would be great!

To be honest, I’m staring at that chocolate cage and imagining Hansel being stuck there by the witch in her candy cottage…except it’d have to be strong (or magic?) chocolate if he couldn’t break it or eat through it!

Now that’s a classic take on this idea. I’d bet on enchanted chocolate.

My chocolate cage would be made from non-dairy chocolate, and have anything with peanut butter inside. A slew of peanuts by themselves would be awesome too.

Hi, Carrie-Anne! Oh wow, I like the sound of that. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are one of my favorites. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my goodness!
I’d enjoy eating my way out, especially if it were dark chocolate. Maybe with almonds for more structural strength.
